Empires and Allies Loading Issues

I have a really bad internet connection but this does not stop me
from playing any other Zynga Game.  My first impression with
Empires and Allies, loading seems to be better than Cityville.
After playing for two days, tasks buttons usually on the right side
of the game screen start to dissapear.  When I try to play the campaign
(where you click on the world map) it does not load, a blank blue
page just sits still with a loading icon pointlessly spinning.

Is this a common problem or is it just my bad internet connection?
