It took a while to load and it was like this for a minute.
When it finally tested, it came out with 0.44 Mbps download speed
and 0.26 Mbps upload speed but it does not seem like it is going at
that speed. The connection is always intermittent.
Especially when I try to download. It becomes intermittent but it does
down load at certain times. There is usually no activity.
Many times before publishing this posting I got
"this webpage is not available" many many times.
This is my everyday life with PLDT DSL.
While trying to upload screenshots I get server error warnings.
This is all thanks to Plan 990 up to 384 KBPS.
I experienced these slow "speeds" since just after the Japanese Tsunami and earthquake till when I left to travel back to the UK Oon March 18.
ReplyDeleteJust returned and am sad to see that the speeds are stiLl around 0.29 MBPS. It was heaven getting 6.5 MBPS back in UK and even over 3 MBPS using a Mobile Broadband USB Dongle. all for cheaper subscriptions than here in Philippines.
Come on PLDT, please get your technology upgraded if you want to charge your sky-high prices of 1000 pesos for a 1 MBPS service as opposed to less than 700 Pesos (10 Pounds) for an 8 MPBS service in UK. Prices should be cheaper here but you guys just look after your shareholders, not your customers.
You've got that right Peter. There should be a law protecting consumers here in the Philippines. I still get the sub-standard service everyday.
